The Basque Beach Tennis and Minority Sports Association organized the second edition of the Basque Beach Cestoball Tournament on Ereaga Beach in Getxo.
After an intense day of activity and in sweltering weather, Bizkaitarrak and Indartsuak competed in the title match.
In the first few minutes of the game, Bizkaitarrak took a 6-2 lead, but Indartsuak equalized just before halftime thanks to Joseba Pascual’s goals.
With the match tied at 10-10, the title was decided by a golden goal. Egoitz Campos González ultimately scored the basket that gave Bizkaitarrak the championship.
The Bilbao Cestoball Tournament will be played in December, this time on cement.
